Lupin identified it, then slowly pushed open the door. A room entirely different from the dust-covered, dilapidated scene outside came into view.

The room had clearly been cleaned. The floor gleamed, the wooden walls were covered in wallpaper without a single patch of peeling paint, and two comfortable sofas stood beside the fireplace, where a fluffy rug had been laid out. As the firelight flickered and danced, a kettle puffed out steam.

The other side of the room, however, presented an entirely different sight.

Several shelves piled high with ingredients stood against the wall, while a massive, heavy obsidian worktable pressed tightly against the shelves, stretching between them.

The space in front of the table, closer to the centre of the room, was not empty either. A stove, cauldrons, scales, and various other tools had been arranged in orderly fashion.

The girl who had been preparing ingredients on a chopping board beside a cauldron had already stopped and turned to look at him, her eyes filled with curiosity in the light.

There was someone else beside the girl, his back turned this way as he bent over to inspect the cauldron while waving his wand.

It was Vaughn Weasley.

Hearing him enter, Vaughn did not pause what he was doing. As immense magic surged, ingredients rose into the air with the sweep of his wand, some circling around him while others silently shattered, specks of light drifting down into the cauldron.

"Just in time, Remus. This batch of potion will be finished soon."

He said.

Listening to Vaughn's voice, Lupin looked towards the cauldron.

Thick smoke swirled around it. He could only tell that it was boiling; the colour of the liquid behind the smoke was impossible to make out.

"Chairman, is this the new version of the Wolfsbane Potion?"
