Ahead lay a faintly visible expanse of golden desert.

The reason was simple. After moving toward the left rear, she had emerged directly from the dense forest.
From here, she could see a small river flowing slowly.
The source of the sound lay some distance upstream.
Looking over, she discovered that not far away,
a small, lush green hill had clearly collapsed.
The explosion she had heard earlier had actually been the sound of the hill collapsing.
Yet from here, she could not make out exactly what had happened.
However, not far from her, she could see several blurry figures tangled together in battle.
Yuka understood that she seemed to have stumbled upon something.
