Granny Sansho seemed not to have reacted at first, but after a slight two-second daze, she instantly answered as though she had rebooted.
Though her voice carried the weight of age, anyone could clearly feel the eagerness and liveliness in her words.
"Yo, isn't this Rock Lee? Are you here for special training again this time?"
That was obviously just polite small talk. Looking at this group, how did they look like they were here for any kind of special training?
Rock Lee smiled. "Ah! Granny Sansho, no. These are all my companions and the client for our mission. We came here to carry out a mission this time."
After nodding, Granny Sansho looked at Rokosuke beside them. The two clearly knew each other, though they were probably not close.
Since they had run into each other, Rokosuke greeted Granny Sansho as well.
Then Tenten asked, "Rock Lee, you know this Granny Sansho?"
Granny Sansho did not answer Tenten's question.
Rock Lee explained, "Tenten, Hinata, this is the owner of this roadside restaurant, Life Curry House."
"As for how we came to know each other, it's actually quite a long story."
Granny Sansho temporarily interrupted them before they could continue, inviting them in. "Haha, everyone, don't stand outside talking. It's rare to see Rock Lee bringing so many friends with him."
"Let's go inside and talk slowly!"
Apparently, no one had any major objections to Granny Sansho's suggestion.
Having arrived here, they were practically at their destination already.
And it was just mealtime, with a restaurant right here. It could almost be called a perfect stroke of luck.
Since things had worked out this way, they might as well first solve everyone's hunger problem.
With no objections to that suggestion, everyone followed Granny Sansho and Rock Lee inside.
