After speaking, he quickly packed up his things and headed straight for the base exit.

The scenery appeared unchanged, with nothing particularly unusual about it.
He maintained this state the entire time.
But then his steps paused slightly before he continued forward.
This time, he had no intention of stopping. His pace was not fast, however. He raised his head, his gaze calm, as though no one knew what he was thinking at that moment.

It was as though everything here had been concealed from his sight until now.
As the scenery faded away, what entered his eyes once more was a brightly lit underground space.
