The Biomechanical Microscopic Eye protruded and bent from the Face of Truth like a snail's eye, focusing on the fingernail-sized Metal Magnetic Chip. Ten times, fifty times, a hundred times, three hundred times, a thousand times, five thousand times, thirty thousand times...
As the Biomechanical Microscopic Eye magnified its view ever further, the Metal Magnetic Chip, no larger than a fingernail, gradually expanded from its outward insignificance. Perhaps it was only a tiny scratch, yet in the world of the microscopic realm, it stretched out like a ravine.
He continued magnifying.
The ravine was no longer merely something viewed from high above. It became increasingly distinct. Vaguely, vegetation seemed to cover its surface, rising and falling in a peculiar breathing rhythm.
This degree of magnification had long surpassed the limits of ordinary mechanical microscopes. In the relative-motion space between observer and observed, even the slightest change would shift the viewing direction by a span akin to crossing a continent, making static observation utterly impossible.
Thus, only under True Time, with a Stigmata Wizard's absolute elemental control, could such meticulous observation be achieved.
