One-second perception: apparent time. Lowly lifeforms used this as their foundation for perceiving the world.
Above one-third of a second: half-step time. The pinnacle of individual lifeforms, allowing them to glimpse the so-called realm of minutiae.
One-eighteenth of a second: True Time, also known as essential time. Within the reality of the Endless World, it was the origin point of balance, the limit at which all material life could naturally reproduce and live normally.
And if perception surpassed one-eighteenth of a second...
Then the material world would connect with illusory worlds governed by certain unique rules. Some illusory phenomena or creatures would overlap with the real world and exert real effects, or one might even fall completely into illusory spacetime, no different from suffering Spacetime Sealing.
At this moment, Green held the Hope Scepter, with the Hope Light Shroud of the Robe of Appearances, assisted by a vast quantity of Sands of Time. The world before his eyes was undergoing utterly different changes.
Tick!
One-nineteenth of a second of Superconducting Time spread through the bizarre ripple field of the ancient pendulum clock in his hand. Green had experienced it long ago.
Every one-eighteenth of a second, in Green's eyes, an invisible black curtain seemed to descend over the entire world. All the black insects beneath his feet had died, the fragments of space had vanished, and there was only darkness.
Only the ancient pendulum clock in his hand remained, its pendulum endlessly chiming "tick-tock," "tick-tock." The whole world was incomparably silent. Who knew what else might lurk in the depths of that darkness?
Tick!
The Sands of Time drove the Hope Light Scepter and the shroud, and Green saw the deeper level of one-twentieth of a second of Superconducting Time.
Beyond the black curtain at one-twentieth of a second lay
