A glittering golden sand monster, surrounded by golden sand that filled heaven and earth, roared furiously as it burst from the chaotic battle of Exiles that blanketed the Four Emperors Slash Sovereign's face, chasing after a giant beetle with nine red spots.
What was shocking was that the beetle was drowning in boundless joy. Between its six legs, it held a constantly spinning eyeball. The eye seemed filled with terror, ceaselessly rotating in an attempt to escape, yet it was utterly futile.
The beetle ignored the sand monster pursuing it, greedily trying to absorb the wisp of Omnipotent Soul contained within. Yet at that moment, a coral monster enveloped in azure Waterflame pounced over to fight for the Four Emperors Slash Sovereign's eye. The next instant, a two-faced ape king crashed down in a rage...

Restoring its wounds had consumed vast amounts of Omnipotent Soul; maintaining communication with the coordinates of the real world likewise consumed enormous quantities of Omnipotent Soul every moment. On top of that, while pursuing the Time Tree, it had continuously used Omnipotent Soul to break through layer upon layer of illusory barriers and charge into this deepest level of illusion...
