For wizards who pursued the mysteries of truth and tangible benefits, discussions of justice and evil were meaningless.
Justice and evil were judgments of the heart. Wizards, adept at bewitching the minds of lesser creatures, would in fact make a tedious oath before every Demon-Hunting Expedition, proclaiming the legitimacy and righteousness of the worlds they invaded.
In truth, aside from newcomers to demon-hunting, not even the lowest-ranking demon-hunting wizards took the justice preached by Stigmata Wizards seriously.
It was a fig leaf, yet when it came to bewitching lesser creatures, that fig leaf had to exist. Indeed, it was exceedingly important.
"Legion of justice!"
"Righteous Annihilation Wizard!"
"Make the Heavenly Mountain Sea World a better place..."
Green had no interest in learning how the low-level wizards and the guardians of the Heavenly Mountain Sea World promoted him. In any case, under Green's command, the wizard legions were publicizing the evil of the Metal Destroyer Civilization beneath an image of righteous radiance. They had even been painted as utterly depraved villains, symbols of darkness and evil.
They annihilated humanity. They were brutal and merciless. They polluted worlds. Even as they plundered with greed, they put on harmless faces and built so-called ecological protection zones.
In the eyes of lesser creatures, these metal robots had become the most terrifying shadow.
In short, the metal robots of this world had already been purged. How they were portrayed depended solely on Green's will. As for evidence?
The forbidden-weapon contamination on Heavenly Mountain Sea Island, where Green had descended through spacetime; the devastation of energy craters; and the wreckage of the Void Mothership that had almost reshaped an unbroken chain of islands upon the sea—these were the so-called evidence.
Such was the sorrow of lesser creatures: they could often see only one side of things.
