Without the Round Table Conference, without Pumiluoxius's Demon-Hunting Expedition plan, without these self-sealed Demon-Hunting True Spirit Wizards serving as a deterrent and gathering the Wizard World's strength, the Wizard World would likely have long since fallen apart.
How could it possibly have gained such an advantage in this War of Civilization?
The stronger one was, the greater one's voice and influence. By comparison, although some True Spirit Wizards had sent down projections of their wills to attend the meeting, they were merely going through the motions. Their presence was even weaker than that of the four Stigmata Wizards.
The round table encircled them. Whether intentional or not, Sylvana, the ancient wandering wizard, sat to Green's left, while Black Isotta—his nominal second disciple—sat to his right, wreathed in the flames of Purgatory nightmares.
