After the Round Table Conference came the Wizard Alliance Congress.
One projection after another of foreign world lords, projections of sovereigns, descended and gathered within this fragment of space carved out of the void.
This congress affirmed the advantages of the Alliance War, offered solace and recognition to the countless Alliance martyrs who had given their lives for the war, and proclaimed the Alliance's declaration to fight to the death without fearing any challenge.
Had he not attended the Round Table Conference, Green would certainly still have been stirred by the Wizard World as he had been at the first Alliance Congress. Yet now, Green stood close to the pinnacle of the Wizard World and clearly understood that the ancient True Spirit Wizards had merely been playing these foolish foreign creatures in the palms of their hands. They used beautiful lies to deceive them, squeezing these world lords and endless sovereigns dry bit by bit, until their final shred of value had been extracted—then discarding them like trash, or swallowing them whole without even spitting out the bones.
This was true evil, true darkness. They were merely tools used by the Wizards. When the time came to cast them aside, there would not be the slightest hesitation.
In the eyes of those ancient Wizards, this World Cluster was nothing more than a place of transit, a land of vengeance where they could mend their wounds and build up their strength.
Once the Alliance Congress dispersed, Green, as a Wizard World Round Table Conference councilor, had his own coordination duties to attend to.
