Green had only just returned when Little Eight impatiently pressed him about his gains. Green had been acting all mysterious before, leaving Little Eight so itchy with curiosity he could hardly bear it.
His tricolored eyes swept the surroundings. Once he confirmed there were no watchers nearby, a smug curve rose at the corner of Green's mouth. With a mysterious smile, he took out a pale white crystal no larger than a fist from the Dimension Gap.
The white crystal was soft and hazy, illusory as a dream, carrying an unreal quality. Specks of light passed through skin and Taiyi Magnetstone alike. Beneath those wisps of white radiance, even the skin became transparent, while the Taiyi Magnetstone seemed to have become a mere subordinate impurity. It was impossible to tell which was closer to reality.
"Th-this... what is this?"
Little Eight's eyes widened as he stared fixedly at the substance emitting soft, pure-white motes. He had no idea what it was, yet he could clearly sense its wonder. It stirred an impulsive urge to possess it, awakening the greed buried deep within his instincts. It was as though obtaining it meant obtaining the entire world—the sweetness of power.
Without a word, Green put away the Taiyi Primordial Magnetism. His tricolored eyes, brimming with ambition, fixed on Little Eight and pulled him free from his intoxicating desires. In a low voice, he said, "I named it Taiyi Primordial Magnetism. It is the first wisp of consciousness born when Earth Vein World was still a Void Worm, the true essence of this world—the coordinate origin of the Repulsion-Attraction Dual Force. To master it is equivalent to possessing the power to control Earth Vein World!"
After a pause, the mysterious curve on Green's lips widened further.
