In a daze, Green regained consciousness and discovered that he was in an entirely new world.
The original form of Fairy Tale was Green's Fairy Tales. The book contained no knowledge of sorcery, nor even the concept of truth. It told only of an author from the Wizard World named Green, who had written a fairy-tale novel while lonely, helpless, and bored.
The story's protagonist was named Ketu. In Gods' World, the world's cruelty tormented him, misfortune befell him, and the gods were the root of all suffering in the world—yet they were simply impossible to defeat.
Only Ketu held fast to his father's legacy and belief: gods, too, could be defeated by humans.
Through Ketu's eternal insistence on remaining true to himself, he grew stronger and stronger, until in the end he defeated the so-called gods and restored peace and beauty to the world.
This was a biographical novel Green had compiled over more than sixty years after being forcibly detained by the Five-Ring True Spirit Wizard when, at the peak of his Third-Level Great Wizardhood, he had intended to leave the Wizard World and travel. It contained over ten million wizard characters, scattered and sprawling, involving the history of Gods' World, its rules, conflicts between characters, the origin of life, future development, conjectures on the development of power systems, and more...
In terms of writing technique, it was not an exceptional work, merely a passable one. Yet because its preface stated that its author, Green, came from the Wizard World, it was unlike ordinary works. As it gradually spread, it formed certain rules that low-level lifeforms could not understand.
