"How much do you Corruptors know about wizards?"

Within the Corruptor World Cluster, a Great Arhat Vajra asked a Corruptor sage.

The two sat facing each other, drinking Spring Bait Tea, a specialty of the Corruptor World Cluster. Since Corruptors were born from the mysterious powers of natural laws, they held a particular fondness for such natural mysteries. By chance, the droppings of a certain moth in this world cluster, before it died in autumn, contained a strange power. Combined with their unique fragrance, those droppings were made into this Spring Bait Tea.

Using a bamboo-tube wooden cup, the sage took a sip before saying in a low voice, "Speaking of it, the Corruptors' understanding of wizards likely far surpasses that of the Ironblood Galaxy. If the Sword in the Stone had not been lost, making it impossible for a new Saint to be born, and if the Corruptors had not lost our strongest military deterrent and been forced into a conservative strategy, then we should have been the ones inviting the wizards."

With a sigh, the Saint set down the bamboo tea cup in his hand.

Among the Corruptors, Saints, Worthies, sages, and Fools each had their own strengths. Under ordinary circumstances, Saints were almost the most idle and least consequential. Otherwise, there would not have been the saying, "The Sword in the Stone remains unsealed."

Yet in a time of external war like this, force outweighed everything. Saints represented the Corruptors' strongest military power, but because of that great war, not only had the previous generation's Saint fallen, even the Sword in the Stone had been lost. The Corruptors had thus lost any possibility of nurturing the next generation's Saint.
