The Second-generation Wizard King raised the Truth-Balance Magic Staff high, and the Dimensional Sphere blazed with dazzling light. Supported by the inexhaustible energy of the immense Eternal Sky City, Green, Milly, and a cluster of runes formed from 0s and 1s were traversing space-time across countless world clusters within a cramped stretch of time and space.
"Do you have any regrets left?"
Suddenly, Milly, nestled against Green's side, asked softly, her eyes brimming with tender attachment. "I truly wish we could keep wandering like this forever. Wouldn't that be wonderful?"
His golden hair flowing, Green extended his left hand. With a flicker of space-time ripples along his left arm, Little Eight abruptly appeared.
Yet although Little Eight stood on Green's arm, his eyes were vacant and unfocused.
If the old Little Eight had been a crude child's drawing brimming with spirit, then in Green's eyes, Little Eight was now a lifelike meticulous brush painting. Though more exquisite, it lacked a soul.
Green slowly stroked Little Eight's red-and-green feathers with his right hand and said in a low voice, "The Wizard World's return, our wedding, and restoring Little Eight. Other than that, I no longer feel any attachment to anything in this dimensional plane. And judging by the degree to which I have disrupted the balance of the Endless World, if the Abyss World abandons its plan to traverse the void and begins its dimensional campaign, there should still be enough time."
After speaking, Green opened a rift into the Dimension Gap and, filled with apology, placed Little Eight inside. The rift closed.
Milly's gaze dimmed slightly before quickly recovering. Leaning against Green's shoulder as though unwilling to think of anything else, she murmured, "No matter what, I'll always stay by your side."
