Other than strength, wisdom and luck seemed beyond the grasp of ordinary people. Yet in truth, only wisdom was something wizards could truly control. No matter how great one's strength, accidents could always happen.

No one could say exactly what level of wisdom a wizard apprentice needed to advance to an official wizard. In any case, a wizard apprentice who merely copied the knowledge of older wizards word for word would never reach that level, no matter how strong they became.

This so-called level was the degree to which a wizard apprentice personally mastered and understood elemental wizard knowledge, because every person's adaptation to rules was unique!

Yet Green and Cappuccino had seemingly never worried about whether she could advance to an official wizard, nor had they given it much thought.

Because Cappuccino had already immersed herself in the joy of wizard knowledge. From her daily progress, from the knowledge she accumulated each day, from her happiness, Green knew that she was walking the path of seeking the truth of wizard knowledge that belonged to her.

If even a wizard apprentice like this could not advance to an official wizard, then what could the other wizard apprentices who did advance rely upon? Luck alone?

If that were truly the case, then the Wizard World would have no saying that wisdom could allow one to advance to an official wizard. There would only be luck.
