Chapter Summaries

Trapped in an underground cavern, Wu Dayi and the others rested while Tian Buyi reunited with the Giant Chi, which knew where his disciples were. After Dabai mapped the cavern and its dangers, the group prepared to follow a route toward a buried city and an exit.

• Zhang Xiaofan and Du Bishu helped Luo Yunji recover, then found Tian Buyi covered in Mayfly Lice and used Du Bishu's spiritual power to drive some of them away.
• Luo Yunji summoned rain with the Yin Orb, accidentally weakening Tian Buyi, Zhang Xiaofan, and Du Bishu before drawing the water away and allowing them to recover.

• The Black Silk devoured the Mayfly Louse King inside the Monster Fish, and its crystal fell unnoticed as the fish brain shattered.
• Luo Yunji, Tian Buyi, and the others escaped the fish and returned to the Ancient City, where He Dazhi used Starlight Grass to treat Tian Buyi's Mayfly Lice infestation.

• The Black Silk cocooned Sixth Senior Brother, and Tian Buyi later confirmed his Daoist spiritual energy was recovering and that he had not become demonic.
