When Wild Dog Daoist and the Quadruplets saw Luo Yunji take that bizarrely shaped "Mysterious Fire Mirror" from Zheng Dali's hand, then immediately put it in his mouth and gnaw at it with a fierce crunch, crunch, all five of them stared with their mouths hanging open.
"Hey! Those teeth! That's something else!"
Then Wild Dog Daoist remembered that magic treasure of his that Luo Yunji had bitten apart. Now all that remained of it was a single eyeball.
Luo Yunji gnawed at it several times before fitting the now-restored "Mysterious Fire Mirror" into the ring-shaped depression on the stone platform.
A moment later, there came a series of click, clack sounds. The stone slab overhead slowly shifted, revealing a hole, and a gust of cold air blew out from within. The eight of them, the lingering heat on their bodies not yet dispersed, all shivered at once—especially Zheng Dali, who was particularly sensitive to cold.
"It's hot below and cold above! Does that mean the level up there has some treasure giving off cold air? A Cooling Pearl?" Luo Yunji's eyes instantly lit up, and he was about to charge up, only for Zhang Xiaofan and Zheng Dali to each grab one of his arms.
"We still don't know if there's any danger up there! Don't be reckless!" Zheng Dali looked at Luo Yunji and urged him.
Zhang Xiaofan and Zheng Dali exchanged a glance. In the end, Zhang Xiaofan stayed to watch Luo Yunji, while Zheng Dali rushed into the hole above.
Before long, Zheng Dali returned. "No danger found near the entrance! Let's go up!"
Luo Yunji glanced at the "Mysterious Fire Mirror" on the stone platform and reminded Zhang Xiaofan beside him, "Little Senior Brother! When we leave later, don't forget to bring it with us!"
