Background / History

Li Qinghe rescued Luo Yunji as an infant from a river and brought him to Azure Cloud Sect. Because Small Bamboo Peak did not accept male disciples, he was sent to Big Bamboo Peak, where Su Ru raised him as her own son and Tian Buyi accepted him as his youngest disciple. Small Bamboo Peak’s disciples remained deeply attached to him during his childhood. 2 996

His identity became a concern when his cultivation progressed at an impossible rate and his teeth proved capable of biting through magical treasures. Daoxuan and the other peak heads determined that he was human, though his body was abnormal. 17
