"Starfall Pavilion is your home too..." Those words left Xiao Yan in a daze, an indescribable sense of belonging welling up from within him.
This was the force Yao Lao had founded, and it was his home as well. What a marvelous feeling.
"However, I have quite a few questions for you, little fellow." Venerable Wind continued, "Can that Dou Zun woman you brought be trusted? And how did you end up mixed up with Fei Tian?"
Venerable Wind had been deeply puzzled by Xiao Yan's group earlier. Once he had confirmed that there was nothing wrong with Yao Lao, he immediately raised these questions to Xiao Yan.
Venerable Wind's questions covered a great deal. Xiao Yan pondered for a while before beginning from the start, briefly recounting how Yao Lao had guided him all the way to rise against the odds, how he had later gone to the Northwest Region and then arrived in the Central Plains, and how he had encountered Fei Tian's attempted ambush.
Xiao Yan still chose to conceal the most crucial details of many parts. Though Yao Lao had absolute trust in Venerable Wind, the matters Xiao Yan now bore were far too significant. It was always safer not to reveal them casually.
Even so, Venerable Wind's face was full of amazement. By the end, he could not help clapping and praising, "Splendid, truly splendid! I once thought that Yao Chen and I had lived lives exciting enough, but compared to you, ours pale considerably."
Xiao Yan rubbed his nose and modestly replied, "You flatter me, Elder Wind. But regarding Fei Tian, I would like to ask how you think I should deal with him."
Venerable Wind asked in return, "What, don't you want to kill him?"
Hearing this, Xiao Yan considered it before shaking
