The three of them had finally escaped with their lives.
Huang Kaiwen coaxed and tricked Korsin into bringing his entire family to Italy.
Korsin had no objections.
After all, they might not be safe in Slovenia, but in Italy, as long as they kept their mouths shut, they could at least live better lives.
For the sake of his descendants' bright future, Korsin decided that he would never let anyone learn of George's background.
Moving from Slovenia to Milan did not require much adjustment. The two countries bordered each other and had frequent exchanges, and quite a few Slovenians spoke Italian.
The only pity was that this incident could not be spoken of.
It had been the most thrilling experience of his life, yet he could only take it to the grave.
When Huang Kaiwen returned home, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
He himself had been fine—after all, Huang the Ball King was exceptionally gifted. The main concern had been George.
Learning at the hospital that George had not been injured was what relieved him most.
"Stay in Milan for a few days before going back to China."
Huang Kaiwen instructed him.
He had to return to the team and resume training.
"Okay, Uncle Kevin!"
George nodded.
Watching George play with the children, the young mistress nudged Huang Kaiwen with her elbow. "George seems to get along quite well with them."
"Yeah."
Huang Kaiwen nodded.
"When I was his age, I didn't like children at all. Even with Luigi, I used to dislike him so much that I wanted to beat him up whenever I saw him," she said with a smile.
Huang Kaiwen nodded.
No wonder Luigi never dared come over as a guest for no reason.
After breakfast, Huang Kaiwen headed to the team for training.
