The Storm Horn stronghold had been a level 55 dungeon, so after clearing it, they had only earned 1,200 NPC creation points. For certain reasons they couldn't disclose, they had created one level 100 NPC and six level 80 NPCs.
BAM!!!
A figure was sent flying in a sorry state and slammed into a wall. A monster wreathed in flames followed him inside, still clutching a little girl with cat ears and a tail.
The newcomer had a lion's head. His left hand was a crocodile's forepaw, his right a werewolf's massive hand, and a griffin's wings sprouted from his back. His legs resembled a cat's, and his feet were planted firmly on the ground. He was Beast King Mekong in Beast Mode.
He entered the room and gazed at the dazzling array of gold coins and large quantities of basic supplies. His eyes brimmed with greed as he thought to himself, With all these resources, I'll save a lot of time in the early stages when I create a guild later.

The little girl in his grasp couldn't break free, but she kept struggling.
Mekong lifted her in front of him. Watching her soft little fists thump against his arm, he couldn't help but sneer.
"I'd heard that everyone in this group was a furry, but I didn't expect them to make the stronghold's internal defenses so weak just to indulge their kinks."
Variable Talisman had just walked in and overheard him. He smiled and teased, "Maybe it's because they have several groups around them, protecting the stronghold in the center. If you like, we can make a few cat-eared girls of our own after we form a guild."
Beast King Mekong tightened his grip. The cat-eared girl in his hand shuddered, then gradually went limp. She dissolved into strings of data and vanished from his grasp.
He shook his head and said to Variable Talisman beside him, "We'll talk about that later. Let's finish our own tasks first. Take all the gold and resources here. I'll go deal with that NPC."
As soon as he finished speaking, the NPC who had been knocked against the wall finally moved again. Looking closely, this was another cat-eared girl created by a furry.
A pair of fox ears sat atop her long red hair, and her two big, fluffy tails stood straight up. She wore a pair of azure gauntlets, and judging by her weapons, she seemed to be a fist-fighting class.
The moment she got up, she charged at them. Beast King Mekong leaped forward, and the two of them started grappling.
They traded punches and kicks in a fierce fight. She punched Mekong in the stomach, and he seized her wrist, pulling her toward him before driving a knee into her lower abdomen. While she was still stunned, he grabbed her tail with one hand and leaped into the air. He spun around, using the momentum to plant his foot on her back and slam her hard into the ground.
BOOM!! The tremendous crash echoed through the air, as if the very atmosphere trembled under the force.
The ground sank under the tremendous impact, and the cat-eared girl beneath his foot lost all her HP.
She dissolved into strings of data and vanished beneath Mekong's foot. He frowned as he watched the data slowly gather nearby. It was obvious that some kind of resurrection item or racial talent had been triggered.
A moment later, the data vanished. But after being resurrected, the cat-eared girl no longer looked remotely human. A huge, fiery-red fox glared at him with a savage gaze, its sturdy limbs crouched low to the ground and blue flames blazing along its two tails.
She let out a low growl and shot toward Mekong like an arrow loosed from a bow.
Seeing this, Mekong didn't retreat. He quickly moved to counter her.
He shifted to the side, deftly dodging the giant fox's first pounce, then immediately struck back with a punch aimed at its chest.
However, his fist felt as if it had hit solid stone. The giant fox merely rocked slightly before continuing to charge at him.
As Mekong dodged to the side, flames from the giant fox's tail suddenly spread over its entire body, turning it into a massive fireball. It changed direction midair and slammed straight into him.
BAM! The fireball knocked Mekong to the ground before reverting to the giant fox. The tables had turned, and Mekong was pinned beneath its foot, unable to move.
The giant fox raised one paw, about to strike, when a blast of magic slammed into its torso and sent it flying to the side.
Variable Talisman lowered his hand, took two bottles of high-grade healing potion from his backpack, and tossed them to Mekong. He waved a hand and complained, "Take it outside to fight. You're making it really hard for me to gather resources."
"Quit nagging and get back to work."
Mekong gulped down a couple mouthfuls of potion, then pulled out a giant hammer. As the giant fox pounced toward him, he slid beneath it. When their positions overlapped, Mekong swung his hammer with all his might and sent the giant fox flying out the door.
"Keep track of the time for me. I'll finish it in three minutes."
With that, he followed it outside. Variable Talisman shrugged helplessly. Some people just liked to show off. The two of them could have finished it quickly if they'd worked together.
He took a timer from his backpack and watched the seconds tick by, letting out a soft laugh.
"What an interesting guy."
He continued gathering the gold and resources in the room, thinking about which area they would loot next.
BAM, SMACK, BOOM.
Outside, Mekong's battle with the giant fox had reached its fiercest point.
The giant fox's flames and Mekong's hammer clashed in midair, sending out a series of thunderous booms.
Mekong was powerful, but the giant fox was clearly stronger. Fortunately, in this form, it had no special abilities beyond turning into flames to pursue him.
Mekong kept adjusting his tactics, trying to find the giant fox's weakness.
Three minutes passed quickly, but the fight still wasn't over.
Mekong was starting to lose patience. He took a deep breath and gathered all his strength. The giant hammer in his hand traced a perfect arc through the air as he clenched his fist and charged at the giant fox.
He lunged and pinned the giant fox in place. The hammer overhead followed its momentum and crashed down hard on the beast.
The giant fox let out a piercing scream and tumbled through the air. Flames gradually wrapped around its tail again, but this time Mekong gave it no chance.
He raised the giant hammer and WHAM, WHAM, WHAM! brought it down on the giant fox's head. At last, its hind legs kicked twice before it fell, still unwilling to give in.
Mekong walked over to the giant fox and watched its data gradually fade away, finally breathing a sigh of relief.
"Phew, finally took care of it. NPCs that focus on boosting a single attribute are really hard to deal with..."
He turned and walked back into the room. Variable Talisman had already finished gathering the gold and resources.
"Took you four minutes."
Variable Talisman looked at him with an amused smile tugging at his lips.
Mekong scratched his head awkwardly and grinned. "It was a fluke, a fluke."
The two exchanged smiles, then left the warehouse they had completely looted.
Behind them, the stronghold's gates slowly closed, as if nothing had happened.
