Because the corruption and suffering of an Astartes could better satisfy the emptiness left by Slaanesh draining their souls than that of ordinary mortals. It could better replenish their souls and help them evade Slaanesh's pursuit.
Once these captured Astartes soldiers were brought back to Commorragh,
even if they were not sent to the arena, they would be brought into the dissection opera houses.
There, they would provide bloody, brutal experiences for the Dark Eldar nobility.

Commorragh was where the Dark Eldar lived, and also a section of the Webway where they hid from Slaanesh's pursuit. Its population exceeded that of all the planets in a major star system combined. Its interior was immensely complex, with powers interwoven with one another. A lone individual simply could not survive there; only Kabals gathered together could barely endure. The sole benefit of living there was convenient travel. It possessed navigable transit points in countless star systems, allowing one to cross thousands of light-years after traveling through Commorragh for only a short time.
