"Light it up."
Brown gave the order.
Then the personnel at work sent out the signal to turn on the lights.
Lights began to come on across the ground as well.
This was their first time seeing the Necron technology they had developed appear in this world.
They were different from the Necrons.
They were willing to use Necron energy. They even wished they could install the thickest "pipes" in the prison holding the Star God and drain it dry.
"It's on!"
"It's lit up!"
Lights powered by energy began to shine across Energy Planet No. 1.
Perhaps because it was Star God energy, the light it produced carried a somewhat eerie green hue.
Out in space—
Though they had illuminated the world—
It felt as if they had entered a gloomy graveyard.
"The energy is running, but it's too eerie."
"That doesn't matter. We only need to adjust the wavelength of the light. What matters is what using Star God energy means for us."
"What it means is that Gamma World no longer lacks energy. Every weapon can be powered by Star God energy."
Brown looked toward Gamma World's energy planet.
Underground, that Star God was perhaps still beguiling Gamma World's technicians.
Brown had met the Star God underground once.
The moment they met, he had felt that it was not a good person.
Later, he had asked Cisrain and learned from him that it was the oldest Star God—and that it was the reason the Necrons had become what they were.
After learning that, Brown had begun guarding against it.
"The Deceiver."
"What I hate most are intelligent creatures like this. Wouldn't it be better to just serve as energy? Perhaps there's a way to erase all its intelligence and turn it into a complete energy source."
