But after years of communion with Chaos and Warp travel, it had long since been corroded beyond recognition. Now, in Vashtorr's hands, it was visibly restoring itself to its original state, leaving them stunned.
The commotion Vashtorr caused finally drew the Chaos Warmaster out of the world of his own thoughts and from his room.
"Vashtorr." A voice came from within as the door opened.
Warmaster Abaddon emerged from the prophecies of those sorcerers.
He had been searching for the things foretold by the sorcerers. Just as with the prophecy of the Great Rift, he had successfully torn open the galaxy by acquiring the Blackstone Fortress.
If he wanted to succeed, he needed more things like the Blackstone Fortress to increase his odds.

Not long ago, Vashtorr and Abaddon had reached an agreement. Though nothing had been explicitly stated in that agreement, Abaddon had always remained wary of Vashtorr. Yet Vashtorr's arrival this time had brought him tangible benefits.
