They had come to take part in the war, but now the enemy had been effortlessly wiped out by Gamma World. They barely needed to lift a finger, merely watching the enemies scatter and flee before them. The sight left them dazed, as though they had yet to process what had happened.
As Gamma World deployed its forces, every enemy that tried to resist was driven into flight beneath Gamma World's precise strikes and overwhelming firepower.

"Commander Maya, a group of Imperium soldiers is requesting a communication link with us."
Inside the warship stood a large man clad in exquisite attire. He clearly had exacting standards for armor; such finely crafted Power Armor was not something an ordinary fleet member could possess. At the very least, he was a core member of Gamma World.
The other side's numbers were truly rather paltry for an Expeditionary Force.
Although these forces were enough to fight a small-scale war by Gamma World's standards, they would not make much difference on a larger battlefield.
Therefore.
Maya, commander of Gamma World's Expeditionary Force, did not particularly care about the Imperium warbands that had arrived.
"At least they're human. Put them through!"
If they had been xenos, Gamma World would not have considered communication at all and would have simply destroyed them. But since they were human, there was still some value in talking to them.
Moreover, Gamma World was currently focusing its efforts on an even greater undertaking—a superweapon capable of affecting the real universe and countering the full might of the Necrons and the other Eldar.
So they still needed some assistance from the Imperium to clear out the Chaos forces
