The psyker broke through.
He tried to contact Abaddon.
But he was not, after all, an Alpha-level psyker. He could not teleport so many people across star systems, nor could he convey the information they knew.
He could only use a few faint keywords to warn Abaddon.
"Heh, how loyal. But does your loyalty deserve you?"
Just as Vashtorr was preparing to bury them all within the engine and forge them into an engine core that spewed deathly flames fueled by rage and despair,
Vashtorr suddenly seemed to convulse.
In an instant, he sensed that something was wrong.
Damn it!
He had gotten too excited.
He had nearly forgotten Gamma World.
Last time, the appearance of his Wyrmwood had been located by Gamma World.
And now Gamma World possessed even faster deep-space travel capabilities.
They might not give him any chance to escape at all.
So, in almost the blink of an eye,
he saw the arriving fleet through the power of the warship.
It seemed to form an inverted eight-pointed-star formation.
At every point of the formation stood what appeared to be a black obelisk.
The Chaos sorcery aboard the ships lost its effect at once.
Those Chaos sorcerers wielding staffs
suddenly lost their supply of psychic power, as though their wires had been cut.
Even worse, a flood of noise began to fill their ears.
Terrible noise, completely unlike the whispers of the Warp. Instead, it was some strange sound, like a severed electromagnetic signal.
"This is..."
"Reality itself is rejecting me!"
Outside,
the warships bearing eight Blackstone Pylons leaped through space from afar like pyramids, arriving directly before them.
Then, under some unknown power, the eight Blackstone Pylons directly stabilized the barrier between the Warp and reality.
The power of reality itself did not affect Vashtorr too
