Tzeentch's sorcerers emerged from the narrow Crystal Labyrinth. At its entrance lay a massive pit Nurgle and Khorne had blasted open long ago, one that had still not fully recovered.
The Chaos sorcerers were briefly surprised when they discovered the Grey Knights who had entered the Crystal Labyrinth.
After all, they had never imagined anyone would dare invade their Crystal Labyrinth. Countless people seeking knowledge had ultimately lost themselves within it. Inside the Crystal Labyrinth, every direction represented the guidance of one of Tzeentch's riddles.
Only the correct answer could lead them out of the Crystal Labyrinth.
And within this labyrinth,
there was a device through which Tzeentch controlled Magnus. They possessed a small fragment of Magnus's collected soul. This fragment had been purified by The Emperor's radiance, and the pure soul had become even purer.
Their purpose in coming here was to use The Emperor's psychic power to utterly destroy the device through which Tzeentch controlled Magnus's other fragments. This would allow Magnus's soul to sense the summons of the other benevolent soul fragments. So long as Magnus could sense this fragment, he would have a chance to break free of Tzeentch's control and restore every piece of his soul. They might not be capable of doing it themselves, but Magnus had a chance.
Once Magnus returned,
they would bring him back to Terra and slowly place him upon the Golden Throne, allowing The Emperor to return to the world.
