While writing this book, I ran into bad luck almost every month.

The next one should be a Warhammer 30K story. I started writing this book on a whim; I'd never written a book before, but I still managed to stick with it until the end.

This book's flaw was that it lacked solid characterizations. Only later, while writing, did I realize how important characterization was. Without it, there was no real conflict, and without conflict, there was no compelling plot. So when writing the new Warhammer story, I should focus on designing the characters and properly establish them from the start.

This book helped me figure out how books should be written, and how I ought to write them in the future.

Actually, once I got into it, writing wasn't as difficult as I'd imagined.

Like the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was ten years ago. The second-best time is now.

Either way, this book has more or less reached its ending.

Balancing writing and work is genuinely difficult. Working away from home means putting up with the boss's PUA tactics, and the boss uses all kinds of methods to force you to spend money so you can't save any. Then when I get home, I still have to sort out my own emotions. Seeing how happily other people live, sometimes I really don't know how I'm supposed to go on living in the future. I feel very lost.

Enough of that negative stuff.

Let's talk about the new book.
