As the light around her began to distort, Himeko paid it no mind and gripped Blood Dance with both hands. Feeling the space around her warp, the Honkai energy within Himeko erupted. Raising her greatsword, she slashed down before her. In an instant... space began to shatter like glass.
Holding her greatsword, Himeko calmly walked out of the shattered space.
"How is that possible...?"
Watching Himeko cleave apart the space she controlled with a single strike, Sirin stood there in stunned silence. She had broken free of the control so easily.
"I don't believe it!"
As Himeko walked toward her, Sirin intensified her control over space. She had only just become a Herrscher, and not even a complete one. Her human consciousness still remained... Her use of the Authority of Space was still at its most basic level.
She only had a few moves she could use over and over.
So there was almost no surprise... Himeko got close to her.
Watching Himeko raise her crimson greatsword and swing it down at her, Sirin instinctively sat down in fear and tightly shut her eyes.
Yet... a minute passed. Sirin had thought she would die, but she found that she did not feel the slightest bit of pain.
She opened her large golden eyes in confusion, only to see... Himeko's face was less than a foot away from hers. That enormous greatsword... had not struck her, but was behind her instead.

Sirin stared blankly at Himeko before her. She did not understand... Why had Himeko not killed her?
Until... Himeko suddenly reached out and gently placed a hand on her cheek. Feeling the warmth of Himeko's hand, Sirin came back to her senses.
