"This is my bedroom. If you don't mind, please rest here with her for now, my lady!"
The Paper Butterfly shrine maiden brought Fu Hua to her own bedroom. It was not that there were no other rooms, but that she had not had time to tidy them up.
"Mm, thank you."
Fu Hua looked at the room before her. It was a simple little bedroom with few things inside, not even much of a dressing table—just a place to rest.
However, quite a few clothes hung in the room: ordinary cloth garments, hemp clothing, and shrine maiden robes. They were probably all Miss Paper Butterfly's.
Holding little Kaguya, Fu Hua walked to the made-up bed and carefully placed her in her arms onto it.
As she set her down, Kaguya clutched Fu Hua's clothes tightly with both hands, seemingly unwilling to let go. Fu Hua could only gently soothe the little one, and when she relaxed... removed her hands.
Little Kaguya lay on the bed, her body curled into a ball, looking exceptionally adorable.
Looking at the sleeping Kaguya on the bed, Fu Hua brushed aside strands of her beautiful hair. The soft, smooth locks slid between her fingers, feeling very pleasant.
"Rest well..."
After admiring Kaguya's sleeping face for a while, Fu Hua left the room.
"My lady..."
Seeing Fu Hua emerge, the Paper Butterfly shrine maiden, who had been waiting outside the door, hurried forward. Hesitation showed on the young shrine maiden's face. Faced with a "friend" who would become a zombie, she did not know how to save her, so instinctively, she could only rely on this woman she had just met.
"Just call me Fu Hua."
Fu Hua calmly nodded to the shrine maiden before her. She did not think herself superior to others.
