Sheele followed Durandal and Rita to their home in the Imperial Capital. Only then did she realize that she'd agreed to go with them.
She felt a little like crying.
But... she didn't really have anywhere else to go. As for her family... she wasn't close to her parents. In fact, they were the ones who'd driven her to go out and work at such a young age.
So... she'd stay here for now.
She hoped they wouldn't kick her out too soon.
Looking at the residence before her, she'd never been to such a luxurious home. But for some reason... she felt neither excitement nor inferiority.
Her mood was very calm, with just a trace of curiosity.
"The house is quite large. For now... there are only three of us living here. You don't need to do anything for the next few days, but you should be able to handle the basic cleaning, right?"
Since Sheele had only just arrived and was too small and frail to train, Rita wasn't in a hurry to put her through her paces. She'd let her recover for a few days. There'd be plenty of time to train her once she'd grown stronger.
Of course, she wouldn't let her do nothing at all. To start with... Sheele could take care of cleaning the house.
The mansion was quite large, and it took Rita a fair bit of time to manage it on her own. It would be ideal if Sheele could help with the cleaning.
