With Sirin around, Rita and Durandal effectively had a super-enhanced version of the Imperial Arm [Shangri-La], allowing them to teleport through space whenever they wished.
Of course, using Sirin as a tool for spatial teleportation really was a waste of her talents...
"Weren't you supposed to be watching those little girls? Why did you run back?" Rita looked at her Herrscher daughter and reached out to pat her head.
"I checked just now. There's nothing dangerous nearby. I left marks on them, so I can teleport straight over. I'll go check on them again later☆~"
Sirin seemed utterly unconcerned. Staring at those little girls all the time was so boring! Besides, teleporting over took less than a second anyway.
"Oh, right... Mama Rita, I caught a Danger Beast. I think its meat would be really tasty, and I'm feeling a little hungry now! You know what I mean, right?" Sirin pointed at the prepared Danger Beast beside her, her meaning obvious.
Although she liked Durandal more as a mother than Rita, she had to admit that she loved Rita's cooking. After eating it once before, she had never been able to forget it.
So she wanted to take this chance to have Rita grill some meat for her.
"Little Sirin, are you... bargaining with me?"
Rita glanced at the Danger Beast's corpse beside them. Rather than getting angry, she merely smiled at Sirin.
"N-No!"
"How could I? I... I'm just hungry☆~"
"Mm, that's all☆~"
Looking at Rita's smiling face, Sirin looked around before rubbing her little belly and gazing at her adorably.
"Is that so..."
"Of course☆~"
Sirin looked remarkably earnest.
"Fine, I'll grill it for you. But go watch those targets for me now. If anything happens, don't expect to eat anything."
"Understood☆~"
