Seeing something fly toward her younger sister, Akame used her newly mastered secret technique to instantly rush to Kurome's side, slashing at the incoming hidden weapon.
Though the hidden weapon was tiny, fortunately... Akame still managed to strike it.
However, using the secret technique placed a somewhat heavy burden on Akame, especially since she had only recently mastered it after obtaining her Stigmata. Shadow Speed Slash!
It allowed her to instantly dash forward, moving so fast that she even left an afterimage where she had stood.
After blocking the attack, Akame felt a slight pain in her feet. Using the secret technique still put too much strain on her legs.
"Big Sister..."
Only then did Kurome react. Her sister had protected her once again.
She looked in the direction the hidden weapon had come from and, sure enough, spotted a shifty-looking man standing in a concealed corner, aiming a strange object at her.
"Big Sister, are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Don't let your guard down."
Though her feet felt a little uncomfortable, it did not affect her much.
"Mm, I'll be careful! I'll kill him first."
Kurome looked at the bandit who had attacked her with the hidden weapon and charged straight at him with her katana in hand.
Seeing Kurome rush over, the bandit's expression changed slightly. But the next moment, a cold smile appeared on his face as he raised the butterfly-shaped device in his hand and aimed it at Kurome.
Three slender needles shot toward Kurome again. They were tiny and completely silent, making them far more dangerous than firearms.

Kurome did not dare let down her guard. She instantly slashed out five times... successfully cutting down the needles.
Just as the bandit prepared to attack again, Kurome had already rushed
