There were invisible threads up ahead. Kurome didn't recklessly make the corpse puppet charge through them. Instead, she made the two-headed wolf take a few steps back. A moment later, both heads opened their mouths and sprayed a cloud of freezing mist toward the threads and Lubbock.
Seeing the freezing mist coming, Lubbock hurriedly retreated.
The two-headed wolf kept spraying the mist for nearly ten breaths before it stopped. When the mist cleared... every invisible thread ahead was coated in ice.
They were now completely exposed.
Just then, the eagle with a tiger's head swooped down from the sky toward Lubbock. Seeing it, Lubbock immediately wove the threads in his hands into a spear and thrust it at the tiger-headed eagle.
Elsewhere, Bonnie stared at Leone, who seemed to radiate the presence of the king of beasts. An excited smile spread across Bonnie's face. Leone was clearly a skilled close-combat fighter, and that was exactly what Bonnie liked.
Wearing the gloves her teacher had replaced for her, [CAS-IV Brawler], Bonnie charged forward with both fists. She didn't have an Imperial Arms, but with her Stigmata and weapons, she didn't think she was any worse than those so-called Imperial Arms Users.
She'd even killed Imperial Arms Users before, so she wasn't afraid of Imperial Arms. Some of them were just especially tricky, so she had to be careful.
