At 10:00 a.m. in the Far East, Nagazora City completely lost contact with the outside world.
In the central square of Nagazora City, although there were not many survivors left in the entire city, many things were still operating normally, especially machines that did not require human control.
Nagazora City's power supply had not been completely cut off, and it was still receiving news from the outside world.
At the center of the square, a huge television was broadcasting the news.
"The United Nations has issued a statement confirming that an infectious disease, BT, has broken out in Nagazora City. To prevent the disease from spreading further, it has now been decided that Nagazora City will be sealed off..."
On the massive television screen, a UN representative expressionlessly delivered the terrifying announcement. But for the survivors of Nagazora City, no one cared about that anymore.
Perhaps because this area had once seen heavy foot traffic, the square was crowded with densely packed Zombies wandering about.
They let out low snarls, seemingly unaware of what they were supposed to do.
Until... hurried footsteps rang out. Every Zombie's gaze was drawn toward the sound, and before long... two girls in school uniforms came running over.
Realizing that the newcomers were humans rather than Zombies, the Zombies present seemed to have finally found their purpose. They all excitedly rushed toward the two girls to block their path.
Yet the two girls paid them no mind at all. It was as though... something terrifying was chasing them from behind, and they were desperately fleeing the danger at their backs.
When she saw the Zombies blocking their way, the white-haired girl in front grew even more anxious!
"Move!"
"You're already dead, so stop blocking my way!!"
