At the Herrscher of Thunder's command, a red dragon appeared in the sky. She immediately mounted it.
"What?! A dragon... a Honkai Beast..."
The sight of the dragon left Raiden Mei's Herrscher consciousness stunned. They were both Herrschers of Thunder—so why could the other one summon such a colossal lightning dragon?
"Monster! I could tell at a glance you weren't human! I'll make you show your true form!"
"Kurikara, Eight Million Gods, World-Honored Jizo, Dragon Ascending to Heaven, Sword Manifestation: Amaterasu!"
Riding the red dragon and activating the Eight Million Gods buff, the Herrscher of Thunder unleashed her ultimate move: Sword Manifestation: Amaterasu!
The red dragon swooped toward Raiden Mei below, unleashing a storm of lightning that blotted out the sky.
And yet...
Raiden Mei wasn't seriously hurt. The dragon had only struck her as it swooped down; its terrifying lightning was still no threat to her.
The moment she was sent flying, Raiden Mei's body turned into a bolt of lightning and vanished. When she reappeared, she was even higher in the sky.
Raiden Mei rubbed her chest. She felt a little winded, but otherwise she was fine. Seeing the Herrscher of Thunder riding the lightning dragon ahead, she relaxed.
"I don't know how you managed to create a dragon-shaped Honkai Beast, but you said it yourself: as the Herrscher of Thunder, lightning can't hurt me!"
Kurikara's aura had been terrifying. For a moment, she'd thought she was done for. But it was a lightning dragon—its strength came from its lightning.
As the Herrscher of Thunder, even a newly born one, lightning was still her servant. Just like the Herrscher of Thunder riding the dragon, how could it possibly hurt her?
"Is that so? Then let's stop playing with lightning!"
The Herrscher of Thunder sat astride Kurikara
