"The Benares from this world?"
Herrscher of Thunder froze. Indeed... this world also had a demonic dragon named Benares, except it was the companion beast of Sirin's consciousness within this world's Kiana.
But that Kiana clearly hadn't awakened her Herrscher consciousness yet!
"Maybe the Herrscher of the Void that emerged from my body earlier caused it to react ahead of time. It probably mistook this Sirin for its queen!"
After thinking it over, Sky came up with a reasonable explanation.
"Now that's interesting. When this Bella sees two queens, I wonder which one she'll listen to?"
As though she had thought of something amusing, Herrscher of Thunder looked somewhat curious and expectant.
"I'm not sure about that, but once the Herrscher of the Void returned to my body, Benares's aura disappeared again." Sky was curious too. If she transformed into the Herrscher of the Void, could she perhaps abduct this little Benares as well?
The Herrscher consciousness inside this world's Kiana had yet to awaken. Normally, it would take another two years or so. In this world... if she found Benares early enough, she might actually be able to make it her dragon.
But the next moment, Sky shook her head, feeling it wasn't necessary.

"What should we do next?"
Sky raised a hand and rubbed her temples. She could no longer overuse the Herrscher of the Void's power, at least not before reaching a peaceful agreement with Sirin's consciousness inside her.
Keeping Sirin's consciousness suppressed all the time wouldn't work either. It would only make her more irritable.
"A new main quest has appeared. It's to join St. Freya High School." Hearing her other "self," Herrscher of Thunder answered calmly.
