Hearing the panicked voices outside, Yae Sakura, Kikyo, and Inuyasha, who had been on the verge of clashing, stopped what they were doing.
"It's the scent of those damn cats! They're here again?"
Inuyasha sniffed, his brows furrowing... With half the blood of the Dog Demon Tribe running through him, he could clearly smell that familiar feline stench.
Although Inuyasha was the second son of the Western Lands and had never received the treatment due a second son, this was still his old man's territory.
And Tessaiga had been left to him by his old man. Even his brother had been willing to do anything for this sword, so Inuyasha did care rather deeply about his father, Toga.
He had not come from Kyoto to the Western Lands on a whim. After learning of the situation between the Dog Demon Tribe and the Panther Tribe, he had come here of his own accord.
Even though he had barely lived here, he would not let these damn cats lay a finger on his father's territory. He glanced at Yae Sakura and Kikyo in the teahouse, said nothing more, and rushed outside.
"Kikyo, let's go take a look too!"
Seeing Inuyasha leave directly, Yae Sakura looked at Kikyo beside her.

Kikyo had remained in the Western Lands because of those Panther Tribe demons, so naturally, she had no objection.
Outside the city, an army of more than a thousand demons was charging toward the city. The local daimyo had long since packed up and fled, so there were barely any soldiers outside the city to resist.
