"Who are you?"
The demon woman stared at the person blocking her path. There was not a trace of demonic aura on her, yet she had a pair of rabbit ears atop her head. The woman had no idea what she was.
Still, anyone who could block her attack so easily could not be weak.
"Just an ordinary Valkyrie passing by!"
With a twist of her wrist, Yae Sakura forced the demon woman back and answered in a casual tone.
"A Valkyrie?"
The demon woman paused, having never heard of any Valkyrie. "I don't care what kind of Valkyrie you are. If you want to save this lecherous monk, then let's see what you're capable of."
Though Yae Sakura's sudden appearance had caught her off guard, the demon woman had no intention of letting it go. That lecherous monk had nearly done that to her—she could not just let it slide! If that incident made that person dislike her, she would truly have nowhere to turn.
With that thought, the demon woman spread her arms and blasted another surge of mixed demonic power toward the self-proclaimed Valkyrie.
Yae Sakura merely held the Spirit-Controlling Blade upright before her. An icy barrier immediately formed in front of her, and the demonic power crashed against it without causing the slightest damage.
"Miss Fox, it's you..."
Miroku stared at the woman standing before him in shock. He had never expected that, at such a critical moment, the violent Half-Demon fox would save him.
Remembering how Yae Sakura had beaten him until he could not even take care of himself last time, he had always held a grudge over it.
But now...
At this moment, all those grievances had vanished.
"We'll talk later."
After blocking the demon woman's attack, Yae Sakura glanced back at Miroku
