"The Cat's Tail tavern is up ahead. Let's hurry over and claim some seats, or once the evening rush starts, there won't be any room left."
Higokumaru led her big sister, Lumine, and Paimon toward the Cat's Tail tavern.
It was already late afternoon, nearly dusk. People who had worked hard all day were finally wrapping up for the day, and many of those who enjoyed drinking... especially Mondstadt residents, nine out of every ten of them liked alcohol.
There were even quite a few Knights of Favonius members. Kaeya was one thing, but even Lisa... could occasionally be seen in taverns, drunk to the point of swaying.
If even the Knights were like that, what about everyone else? Thus, Mondstadt's taverns were exceptionally busy, and their stream of customers would only continue to rise before long.
"Paimon's looking forward to it too. Taverns should have food besides alcohol, right? Say... Lumine, can you drink?" Paimon asked Lumine curiously. She had never seen Lumine drink before.
"I can give it a try..."
After thinking for a moment, Lumine answered calmly.
"They have drinks with very low alcohol content. Even if you can't drink, those should be fine."
Mondstadt had all kinds of alcohol, including plenty of low-proof fruit wines suitable for first-timers and girls.
"Then let's have low-proof drinks!"
Paimon scratched her head, looking rather adorable.
"We're here. This is it."
Having arrived at the entrance to the Cat's Tail tavern, Higokumaru stopped. There were already quite a few customers coming and going, and nearly all of them had come for Diona.
"So many kitties!"
Lumine's attention was suddenly drawn to the cats outside the Cat's Tail. There were so many adorable cats there, completely unafraid of people, simply lying around and watching the passing customers.
Lumine walked over to
