After all the dust had settled, Sentience Fu Hua, exhausted after several days, lay beneath Tushan's Bitter Love Tree, finally allowing herself to relax.
"Will humans and demons... really be able to coexist peacefully in the future?"
Yaya lay beside Sentience Fu Hua as well, staring blankly at the Bitter Love Tree overhead and murmuring to herself.
She had witnessed far too many conflicts between humans and demons. Though she held great hopes, now that things had reached this point, she began to doubt again.
"They definitely will. Trust me."
Sentience Fu Hua took Yaya's slightly cool hand and smiled softly. "From now on, there will no longer be such a divide between humans and demons. At the very least, they won't be mortal enemies like before."
Absolute peace was impossible. Even among humans, murders happened all the time, let alone among demons.
But as long as demons understood that killing humans would bring punishment, even cost them their lives, they would restrain themselves. Over time, things would improve.
As for making every demon instantly abandon all harmful thoughts toward humans, Sentience Fu Hua would have to control every demon and human, altering their memories and values.
But doing that would be no different from killing every demon and human.
Fu Hua was not that extreme.
Yaya nodded. She was not especially excited right now. World peace was less her dream than her sister's dream, which she merely wanted to fulfill. As for herself, being able to eat, drink, and have fun every day was enough.
"Without realizing it, Senti really did it."
Crimson Kite floated beside the tree, looking at the two girls beneath it. Though Senti's personality had not changed much, she had actually changed quite a bit.
