Sensing the threat, Himeko did not dare let down her guard in the slightest. She raised Godslayer: Surtr with both hands, blazing flames burning along the greatsword.
At the same time, a golden flash swept across her body... and her entire form transformed into a diamond-like state!

The superheated blade radiated a crimson glow, its ringing like an elegy: the destroyer that severed the divine court and forged the stars into molten ruin—Surtr had returned!
Godslayer collided with the spear, and the clash of the two powers made the entire Valhalla arena shine like the sun. The blazing light forced the thirteen Valkyries outside the arena to instinctively raise their hands before their eyes and shut them.
No one knew how long it took before the light and flames finally faded away... The thirteen Valkyries hurriedly looked toward the arena, only to find that the battleground had become a massive crater, with Lu Bu and Himeko standing within it.
However... aside from her slightly disheveled hair, Himeko appeared completely unharmed. As for Lu Bu... his entire body had already been shattered beyond recognition.
Even so, there was not the slightest sign of pain on his face. Instead, it seemed as though he had let something go, his expression free of all desire.
