Each side, humans and gods alike, could choose the terrain once. And since this match had been added so abruptly, one battle was restricted to the area around an isolated island. It seemed fair enough.
But this matter... the human side had received no prior notice whatsoever. The gods had simply imposed it by force! There was no room for negotiation, no fairness at all.
This change might not have been all that significant now, and it might not provoke too much resistance. But if they accepted this arrangement, who knew whether something even more outrageous would follow?
