Alvitr had not transformed into another weapon. Instead, she had fused with Eirin's wine-red eyes—or rather, the divine weapon she manifested as was a pair of strange eyes.
Alvitr possessed a trait known as "omniscience." After obtaining her, Eirin discovered that her eyes had changed.
No matter what she looked at, all information about the object before her entered her mind in the next instant.
