Compared to yesterday, the weather was undoubtedly much better today. The sun had risen early in the morning.
Since Sona Sitri had gone to the Underworld, Kiana was alone today. She had no plans to stay cooped up at home and instead intended to wander around outside. Perhaps she would run into something interesting.
Just as Kiana stepped out the door, a hesitant yet pleasantly surprised voice rang out.
"Senior Kiana?"
The fallen angel girl she had met yesterday, disguised as Yuma Amano, appeared nearby with perfect timing.
"What a coincidence! We meet again. So Senior lives here?"
The girl acted as though she were genuinely surprised to see Kiana, with no trace of pretense in the delight on her face. Compared to yesterday, Yuma Amano had changed into another dress today, making her look even more innocent and adorable.
With a small bag slung over her shoulder, Yuma Amano quickened her pace and came before Kiana. "I just finished buying something and happened to pass by. I never thought I'd run into you, Senior Kiana. I'm really lucky."
Perhaps worried that Kiana might misunderstand her, Yuma Amano hurriedly added an explanation.
"I don't mean anything by it. I just moved here not long ago, so I don't know the area or anyone here... Senior Kiana and Kiryuu Aika are the people I know best, so I'm really happy to run into you again."
"What an amazing coincidence. It seems we really are fated, meeting Yuma Amano the moment I stepped outside."
Kiana's expression was slightly strange. She had thought... as a skilled hunter, Raynare would wait a few more days before "accidentally" meeting her again.
