Mia stared blankly as she accepted the gift Rita handed her: two ornate pistols. It was not as though she had never seen similar things before; the royal family even had some in its collection.
She had heard they were weapons created by Heroes, but the firearms Rita had brought out were completely different from the ones in the royal collection. As an elemental mage, she could sense the terrifying power contained within them.
It was a force countless times more dangerous than elemental magic and battle aura...
But why was she giving these to her?
Was it because she was an alchemist? Indeed, something like this was quite interesting to an alchemist.
"Ahem."
Just as Mia was spacing out, she suddenly heard her royal sister cough, snapping her back to her senses. She hurriedly thanked Rita.
"Ah... thank you!"
"It's just a little trinket. I hope you like it."
Rita waved it off without giving it much thought, then moved close to Mia and quietly explained how to use it in her ear.
Faced with Rita's sudden action, Mia hesitantly took half a step back. However, when she heard the instructions Rita gave her, a look of surprise appeared on her face.
This gun could be used endlessly without mana or ammunition? She just did not know how powerful it was. If it was as strong as a Fireball spell, that would be terrifying.
Not far away, Freia watched Rita whispering to Mia and did not stop them. Her eyes flickered a few times, and for some reason, the corners of her lips curled upward slightly.
She had thought those two Heroes were truly flawless.
Apparently, that was not quite the case!
