After making that decision, the guilt in Mia's heart vanished completely. What followed, however, was fear of the punishment she would face next.

Especially after thinking of something, when Mia felt her body beginning to heat up, she did not dare let Rita stay any longer. She began urging Rita to leave...
"I'm sorry, Hero! What I did was wrong. I'll apologize to you tomorrow. There is nothing else now, so you can leave."
After stopping her tears and steadying her emotions, Mia put on her clothes, opened the door, lowered her head, and spoke apologetically...
"Can you tell me what happened?"
Looking at Mia like this, how could Rita not know that something had happened to her? Rather than leaving, she calmly asked her.
This little princess had been acting very strangely today.
Yet upon hearing Rita's words, Mia merely shook her head, with no intention of saying anything.
"It's nothing. I've just been in a bad mood today..."
"I still want to become stronger and help everyone. Since you don't like that kind of thing, Hero, then forget it! You can teach me other ways to grow stronger later."
After thinking it over, Mia came up with an excellent excuse.
This mission had been doomed to fail from the start. This Hero was not like Princess Freia had said—she did not have those kinds of thoughts about her.
Since she did not have those kinds of thoughts about her, it made sense that she would not cooperate so readily in completing the mission. Though there was a high chance Princess Freia would not listen to her explanation at all.
