When they saw the slave dealer enter, the guards hurriedly greeted him and stepped aside. The fat dealer nodded calmly, then took several keys from his pocket and unlocked the gate before turning to Rita and Mia with a hint of respect. "Guests, this way, please."
They really were cautious. Layer upon layer of checkpoints meant the slaves inside had no way to escape. It would also be difficult for anyone to rescue them—and they might even end up locked inside themselves...
Rita surveyed the area and confirmed that it could not trap her before leading Mia inside.
