Turning to look at Griseo, Miko was happy to hear that, but she was not very confident in herself.
"Make you feel better?"
Griseo tilted her head at her, not understanding why she would say that. She never lied.
"I understand, but... I still need to put on some light makeup. It's the bare minimum of respect."
Seeing Griseo's confusion, Miko understood what she meant. It really was not just politeness. Griseo genuinely thought she was pretty! That made her very happy.
But she was still barefaced right now, so she needed to touch up with some light makeup.
"Light makeup? Respect?"
Griseo did not understand. Why did putting on makeup signify respect? Miko was already pretty without it!
"It's very impolite for a girl to go barefaced to an important occasion." Noticing Griseo's confusion, Miko explained.
"But you don't need to, Griseo."
Griseo was only an elementary school student. Elementary school students had not even gotten into makeup yet.
With that, Miko opened her drawer, intending to take out a few of the skincare and cosmetics products she used most often. But the instant she opened the drawer and reached inside, her body suddenly stiffened.
