When the evil spirit suddenly turned a vicious glare on her, Miko Yotsuya froze. A bead of cold sweat visibly ran from her forehead down her cheek.
This evil spirit looked rather sleazy, but when it tried to scare someone, it was genuinely terrifying.
Even though Miko had gathered her courage and believed she had a heart of steel, she still could not pretend nothing was there.
"Hm? You can see me?"
Perhaps Miko had failed to hide it for that instant. The flash of terror on her face allowed this perverted evil spirit, whose intelligence surpassed that of ordinary evil spirits, to notice something was wrong.
It could not help stretching out its neck, as though it possessed a rubber-like power, extending only its head right in front of Miko.
Faced with this situation, Miko panicked even more.
Still, she did her best to remain calm as her mind raced, trying to figure out how to survive this crisis.
Just as the evil spirit stared at Miko with growing suspicion and Miko became increasingly desperate, Griseo finally reacted.
"I'm done."
She had finally finished her painting. There was no special power in it; Griseo had merely painted it casually.
Yet only after the painting was complete did Griseo seem to notice the evil spirit wrapped around her hand. Her expression did not change in the slightest, and she still wore that blank, emotionless little-girl look.
Drawn by Griseo's movement, the perverted evil spirit temporarily left Miko alone and returned to Griseo.
"My little darling, draw me... draw me..."
As it spoke, several arms emerged from its body, ready to embrace the little darling before it. One was human, while the other was merely a spirit.
She could not sense its existence at all, but at least it would feel
